Job description

Project Description :

  • We are looking for a highly skilled SAP Lumira / Webi Reporting Tester to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for testing and validating reports generated through SAP Lumira and Web Intelligence (Webi) to ensure they meet business requirements, functionality, and quality standards. The SAP Lumira / Webi Reporting Tester will work closely with business users, report developers, and other stakeholders to ensure the accuracy, performance, and overall reliability of reporting solutions. The role requires a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in SAP reporting tools

Responsibilities :

Report Testing & Validation :

  • Perform end-to-end testing of SAP Lumira and Webi reports to validate data accuracy, report performance, and adherence to business requirements.
  • Execute test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing of reports.
  • Analyze and document defects or issues found during testing and work with development teams to resolve them.

    • Requirements Analysis & Documentation :

  • Review business and technical requirements to create detailed test plans and test cases.
  • Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to ensure reporting requirements are well-understood and accurately translated into report designs.
  • Track and report testing progress, ensuring milestones are met according to the project timelines.

    • Quality Assurance & Issue Resolution :

  • Perform data validation to ensure reports pull accurate data from SAP sources (e.g., SAP BW, SAP HANA).
  • Identify discrepancies, performance issues, and defects in report outputs, and work with developers and business teams to resolve them.
  • Ensure reports are aligned with user expectations, business rules, and specifications.

    • Collaboration & Communication :

  • Collaborate with SAP report developers, business analysts, and business users to review reports and test findings.
  • Provide feedback to the development team on report usability and design improvements.
  • Communicate testing results, findings, and issues to stakeholders and management.

    • Continuous Improvement :

  • Proactively suggest improvements to the testing process to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Keep up to date with new features and best practices in SAP Lumira and Webi reporting to ensure testing aligns with the latest industry standards

    • Mandatory Skills Description :

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • Experience :
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in testing SAP Lumira and Webi reports.
  • Strong understanding of SAP reporting tools, particularly SAP Lumira and Web Intelligence (Webi).
  • Experience in data validation, reporting analysis, and defect tracking.
  • Technical Skills :
  • Proficiency in SAP Lumira and Webi reporting platforms.
  • Strong understanding of SAP BW, SAP HANA, or other SAP data sources.
  • Knowledge of SQL for data validation and query testing.
  • Familiarity with testing tools (e.g., Jira, HP ALM, or Quality Center) for managing test cases, defects, and reporting.
  • Soft Skills :
  • Excellent analytical skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
