Purpose of the position

b. What will happen if there is no one in the position (no one performs the work)?

The role is responsible for planning new aggregates (Powertrains, new technology

features); identifying market opportunities based on insights from customer for both

new as well as existing products (including improvement needs) and co-creating new

product configurations (SOI) & business cases.

Dimensions of the position

Annual Revenue budget : Rs 50~100 crs

management and product marketing.

4. Experience of at least 1 full scale projects in Vehicle Integration, Program Support,

Product Marketing, etc

Key Responsibilities :

1 Customer Insights

Conduct Market research (with external and internal teams) to bring in competitive intelligence and market information

Monitor technology trends and prioritize technologies which suits to overall strategic intent and product proposition

Develop understanding of customer

segmentation & assess sectoral requirements

Identify attractive product spaces

Product concept relevance to customer VOC

2 Product Planning

Create the view of future by capturing the changing external environment (Customer

insight, competition, duty structure, regulatory and technology trends) through competitive intelligence and market insights Incorporate inputs from the strategy and

business development team into product

planning Incorporate inputs from customer quality CFTs and field inputs – both through field services team

Gather inputs wrt Risk management for business and financial risk and develop product plan strategy to absorb the changes in external factor (Competition, oil, technology, forex and duty structure)

Come up with proposals for new powertrain, new technology features to be launched based on business priorities and received feedback

Develop new technology roadmap including powertrain interventions

Key new technology items & aggregates selection relevance to customer VOC

Liase with PSE team for new powertrain programs business case

Propose the new technology solutions and detail out specifics of product aligned to market requirements
