Job Purpose :
The Specialist - Service Excellence or Service Engineer role focuses on delivering exceptional technical support and customer service for Immunoshop’s comprehensive portfolio of medical diagnostic instruments. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by performing installations, maintenance, troubleshooting, and user training while supporting service-related revenue growth.
Qualifications and Experience :
Bachelor’s degree in Biomedical Engineering, Instrumentation, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
2–4 years of experience in a medical diagnostics service role.
Candidates with higher experience may be considered for senior roles.
Key Responsibilities :
Customer Support :
Provide high-quality service and technical support for Immunoshop’s diagnostic instruments, including CLIA, ImmunoAssay Automation, Hematology, Nephlometry, and HPLC instruments.
Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive communication and a commitment to service excellence.
Problem Resolution :
Perform installations, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs of diagnostic instruments.
Conduct user training sessions to enable customers to operate instruments effectively and confidently.
Manage and resolve technical issues independently after receiving comprehensive training, ensuring minimal instrument downtime.
Service Revenue :
Execute and document Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and Comprehensive Maintenance Contracts (CMC) in a timely manner.
Ensure prompt collection of AMC and CMC payments from customer sites.
Support revenue generation by encouraging regular reagent orders for closed systems.
Skills and Competencies :
Strong technical and analytical skills to troubleshoot and resolve instrument issues effectively.
Expertise in diagnostic instruments such as CLIA, Hematology, , and HPLC automation.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with customers professionally.
Proactive, results-driven, and responsive to customer needs.
Ability to multitask while maintaining high service standards under pressure.
