We are seeking an HR Assistant to join our HR Operations team, who will be responsible for managing background verification (BGV), benefits, onboarding coordination, and various other HR operational tasks. This position demands strong attention to detail, a process-oriented mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

A Day in the Life

  • Support new employee onboarding, including ID creation, paperwork, and system access. Ensure accurate new hire profiles in ADP and other HR systems, send welcome emails, coordinate first-day activities, and maintain up-to-date employee records.
  • Oversee and track background verification (BGV) for new hires, ensuring proper documentation, timely follow-ups with vendors and employees, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Handle insurance processes, including additions, deletions, corrections, and audits, while assisting employees with insurance inquiries, maternity leave updates, and super top-up policies. Coordinate with vendors and internal teams to ensure efficient benefits administration.
  • Oversee probation confirmations, HR audits, and the employee resignation process, including exit formalities, documentation (relieving letters, employment verification), and updating termination details in HR systems.
  • Support HR operations by maintaining reports, managing HR communications (e.g., holiday notifications), and assisting with ad hoc tasks as needed.

Skills & Qualifications :

  • Experience : 2-4 years in HR operations, BGV, or benefits administration.
  • Education : Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR operations and processes.
  • Proficiency in HR systems (ADP, Greenhouse, etc.) and MS Office.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
