It's an exciting time to join our team, we are a newly formed team building an innovative product from the ground up. We have the energy of a startup with the backing and experience of an established company in the industry. Our goal is to disrupt the industry with a modern utility billing solution that can be used by billing companies across North America.

WHAT YOU WILL DO :

  • Gather the requirements from all stakeholders and finalize the priorities in line with org goals.
  • Define the golden triangle of a project with a buy-in from all stakeholders.
  • Track project progress and manage project communication to all stakeholders.
  • Own the development roadmap. Work closely with both the development team and stakeholders to appropriately and realistically reach agreement on roadmap milestones.
  • Manage risks / issues; correct deviations from plans and and ensure alignment with org priorities.
  • Own the feature request / bug queues and ensure all requests are placed appropriately on the roadmap and bugs are prioritized with the dev team.
  • Perform sprint planning, retrospective and communicate the product changes to the stakeholders.
  • Distill roadmap milestones and feature requests into detailed development tickets.
  • Create tickets in the agile system and work with the dev team to see that tickets are assigned.
  • Work with the dev team to plan resources and ensure the team has the required resources to \implement the product

roadmap.

  • Own the process of communicating the change log to users at the completion of each sprint.
  • Represent the company India Development team to our onshore partners with the highest levels of professionalism and excellence.

    • WHAT YOU BRING :

  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management or related field.
  • 8+ years experience working as a Project Manager with software development teams.
  • Proven ability to lead software development projects and ensure objectives, goals, and commitments are met.
  • A strong familiarity with various Agile and Scrum elements, including Agile planning and Agile project management with Scrum.
  • Effective interpersonal skills including mentoring, coaching, collaborating, and team building.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.
  • Experience interacting with individuals in both business and technical teams at all levels; including the executive level.
  • Creative approach to problem-solving with the ability to focus on details while maintaining the "big picture" view
  • Natural ability to simplify complex problems by focusing on the end goal and removing unnecessary or redundant processes and information.
  • Showing comfort with quickly changing priorities, and finesse to manage competing demands.
  • Solid understanding of and demonstrated experience in using appropriate tools :
  • Agile Sprint Management tools such as Jira, Rally, VersionOne, Azure DevOps etc
  • Project management tools such as Microsoft Project, Visio, and all Office Tools

    • GOOD IF YOU ALSO HAVE :

  • Masters Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management or related field.
  • PMP certification is NOTES :
  • This role requires 50% overlap with the dev team in India and 50% overlap with the on-shore team based across the US and in-office attendance to facilitate sprint planning and other collaboration with the entire development team.
  • We follow a hybrid office model allowing three days each week to be remote. Our team works in-person on Monday and Tuesday each week at an office space in the Bangalore CBD.
