About the Role

As Asia-Pacific APAC) Employer Branding Lead, you will develop and execute strategies to attract critical talent and enhance our reputation as an attractive employer across the APAC region through authentic storytelling, content development, social campaigns, event marketing and other recruitment marketing initiatives. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, including Talent Acquisition, HR, Corporate Communications, Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), and business leaders, to ensure alignment with our overall brand positioning and business objectives.

You will report to the Global Employer Brand Manager. This position does not have any direct reports but will manage vendor relationships and act as lead for our regional Employer Brand Champion Network representing 6 countries.

What You Will Do

Serve as Employer Brand (EB) subject matter expert for APAC, leading regional multi-country employer brand content and talent engagement strategy across key social media and recruiting channels and platforms informed by global EB strategy.

Act as EB advisor to regional Talent Acquisition leadership and business stakeholders to drive hiring goals.

Act as a strategic storyteller by creating content showcasing employee stories in a variety of formats (written, visual, video, etc.) across multiple internal and external channels. This includes developing and deploying recruitment marketing campaigns in partnership with Global EB team.

Manage our APAC EB channels such as LinkedIn, regional HARMAN careers website content, Glassdoor, YouTube Life at HARMAN playlist, and local sites. This includes engagement efforts and creation of content, social posts, and paid social campaigns to drive regional strategy. You also evaluate new-to-HARMAN regional channels to drive our attraction and hiring goals.

Drive regional recruitment marketing efforts in line with company values, hiring goals, and DE&I strategy, and leverage metrics and analytics to measure EB effectiveness and ROI.

Own the APAC EB Champion Network, leading engagement, communications and training of our extended regional team.

Manage regional internal training and best practices to drive brand messaging and enhance the candidate experience.

Own regional creative agency relationships and vendor selection and management.

What You Need to Be Successful

Exceptional storytelling and writing skills.

Experience with stakeholder management across all levels of seniority.

Experience with design or editing tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative, etc.

Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate projects across multiple functions and geographies.

Strong understanding of social media best practices and content development.

A global and collaborative mindset with an interest in learning new tools and exploring new EB approaches – adaptability is key.

Bonus Points if You Have

Experience working in global companies and on global teams.

Vendor management experience.

Paid social media campaign deployment experience.

Editorial calendar management experience.

Experience in the automotive or digital services / information technology industries.

What Makes You Eligible

Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years Employer Branding, Communications or Digital Marketing experience.

Fluent in English.

Be willing to travel up to 5%.

Be willing to work in an office in Bangalore (hybrid).
