Citi Finance is responsible for the firm’s financial management and related controls. We manage and partner on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations. We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Officer, Transformation Data Management & Governance Analyst 1 - Hybrid (Internal Job Title : Transformation Data Management & Governance Analyst - C09) based in Mumbai. The GP&P Analyst 1 is a trainee professional role. Requires a good knowledge of the range of processes, procedures and systems to be used in carrying out assigned tasks and a basic understanding of the underlying concepts and principles upon which the job is based. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Makes evaluative judgements based on the analysis of factual information. They are expected to resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and will be guided by precedents. Must be able to exchange information in a concise way as well as be sensitive to audience diversity. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks / services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own job.

In this role, you’re expected to :

  • Participates in implementation management for strategic initiatives, technology portfolio budget management in coordination with Global Functions Technology Services (GFTS), project support, as well as communications and policy management across Finance and Risk.
  • Assists in managing the end-to-end program tracking, reporting and implementation processes, communications and policies, as well as resource Planning and financial oversight (including staff and technology budgets).
  • Contributes to implementation of common data and data standards, common processes and integrated technology platforms
  • Enables a foundational reporting infrastructure across Citi businesses and global functions by ensuring consistency within Finance and Risk
  • Manages implementation of procedures and development of analyses and report.
  • Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices.
  • Delivering of routine and defined outputs.
  • Escalates problems or issues relating to transactions, processes, reports or, procedures.
  • Performs other duties and functions as assigned
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

    • As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure :

  • 0-2+ years of relevant experience
  • Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Has working knowledge of industry practices and standards.

    • Education :

    Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Information Systems, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or a related quantitative discipline, CA / MBA
