Gateway College of Architecture and Design is situated in the lush green area of sector - 11 Sonipat in the National Capital Region of the country. Started in 2008 by an experienced architectural academic and a young architectural entrepreneur the college has grown by leaps and bounds to start from a one-room set up to the present over a lakh square foot facility. This was the fulfillment of dreams of these two persons to establish an institution that could be a model for others to emulate.

Program Manager

Program Manager is responsible for designing, coordinating and improving the internal and external programs of an Institute. Program Managers work across a range of industries to deliver programs that align to the Institution’s strategic vision.

Rules and Responsibilities

There are a range of duties and responsibilities that Program Manager need to master in order to run programs successfully and economically. Here are some duties to include in a Program Manager job description :

Expanding program offering and enhancing the quality of existing programs
Developing and implementing strategy for the program team, including developing a robust risk mitigation plan
Understanding how different projects interlink and overlap
Working with the HR team to manage staff and resources for programs
Liaising with the marketing and communications team to increase awareness of programs
Coordinating and running events and workshops
Gathering feedback and presenting insights
Reporting on program performance to executive team and directors
Identifying opportunities for continual improvement
Developing industry partnerships

6. Qualification & Skills

The minimum education requirement for a Programme Manager position is a bachelor’s degree.

In-depth knowledge of programme and project management methods and principles

Exceptional leadership and organizational skills

In-depth understanding of performance evaluation principles

Proficiency in various programme management software, including MS Office, MS Project and Base camp.

Ability to manage a team and stakeholders

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Good interpersonal and leadership skills

Attention to detail and time management skills
