ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Job Description : Key Responsibilities

  • Managing end to end quantitative and qualitative Market Research projects.
  • Creating / delivering pre-sales presentations, research solutioning, proposal writing.
  • Leading and supervising all aspects of project management to ensure that projects are delivered on time, meet client needs and deliver on high-quality standards propagated by the company.
  • Ensuring seamless project delivery, effective client management across geographies and industries.
  • Appropriately aligning responsibilities, delegating accountability and authority across team.
  • Role will be strongly client facing - interacting with senior business stakeholders across markets.

Client Servicing

  • Being a business consultant / SME for client teams
  • Managing & developing existing and / or new client relationships
  • Applying knowledge of Market Research across different industry domains

    • Project Management

  • Leading and managing multiple projects concurrently.
  • Effectively planning, scheduling and monitoring research studies.
  • Anticipating eventualities, identifying potential risks, developing contingency plans and regularly tracking the same to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Regularly monitoring the progress of projects involving review of all deliverables, slippages, defects, efforts etc. and taking appropriate corrective and preventive measures, if required
  • Ensuring effective inter and intra-functional coordination and functioning, proactively addressing all issues.
  • Resource management and staffing

    • Specific Research Skills

  • Hands on experience of leading quantitative and qualitative primary research projects.
  • Hands on experience in research fundamentals - developing Questionnaire / Discussion Guide, Sample Plan, Analysis & Insights and Report writing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Market Research tools and techniques : Segmentation (Cluster Analysis, CHAID etc.), Trade-off analysis (Conjoint, MaxDiff etc.), Brand Track, Ad / Campaign evaluation, Concept Test, Forecasting (including Time Series), Causal / Predictive modelling (Linear, Logistic regression, SEM etc.).
  • Hands on experience of SPSS or similar research tools. Additionally, experience in Sawtooth, Python will be preferred.
  • Expertise in Excel (knowledge of VBA will be preferred), PowerPoint and MS Word.

    • Educational Qualification

  • Masters in a Quantitative discipline or MBA (preferred)
