Vmware Aria Consultant - 6 months contract - Remote - Pharma

Vmware Aria Consultant to drive automation initiatives across both on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have experience in building pipelines and workflows using VMware Aria Automation / Orchestrator, Ansible , or similar technologies. You will work on system integrations, infrastructure automation, and cloud provisioning, contributing to a more efficient and scalable IT ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

Design and implement automated workflows using Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator, and Ansible .
Develop automation scripts using JavaScript, PowerShell, and Bash , ensuring efficiency and security.
Leverage REST APIs to integrate IT tools and deliver end-user automated solutions.
Work with on-premises infrastructures like VMware vSphere & Nutanix AHV , as well as public cloud platforms like AWS & Azure .
Collaborate with DevOps teams, using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, and Git , to enhance automation workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Experience in IT automation, infrastructure, and cloud deployments.

Expertise in Aria Automation, Aria Orchestrator, Ansible , or similar technologies.

Strong scripting skills (JavaScript, PowerShell, Bash) for automation tasks.

Hands-on experience with REST API integrations to streamline IT workflows.

Experience with CI / CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI and version control systems .

Solid understanding of networking, storage, and security principles .

Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams in a collaborative environment.

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.

Familiarity with container orchestration (Kubernetes) is a plus.
