About this role :

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Software Engineer specializing in Workday Integrations to join our HR Technology Operations team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in maintaining and enhancing complex Workday integration ecosystem and providing technical support to HR applications. You will play a critical role in ensuring seamless data flow and integration between Workday and various other systems, contributing to the overall efficiency and effectiveness of our HR processes.

What you will do :

Troubleshoot, Support and Enhance : Diagnose and resolve workday integration-related issues in a timely manner and provide support during incidents and outages. Integration scope will include integrations from all HR modules using all workday integration tools such as EIB, DT, XSLT, web services and Payroll integrations.

Coordination : Coordinate with internal / external stakeholders and business partners to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.

Integration Maintenance : Monitor and maintain existing integrations, ensuring data accuracy, integrity, and performance of the Workday Integrations, including system performance, availability, and security.

Documentation : Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for all integrations, including technical specifications, data flow diagrams, and user guides.

Best Practices : Ensure adherence to best practices for integration design, development, and deployment, including security and data privacy standards.

Continuous Improvement : Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in Workday and integration technologies, proposing improvements to existing processes and systems. Identify the commonly occurring integration issues and implement solutions to resolve them.

System Maintenance : Conduct routine system maintenance activities such as patching, upgrades, and configuration changes.

What you will need :

Graduate or postgraduate degree in Engineering.

Minimum of 4 years of experience in software engineering with at least 3 years focused on Workday integrations operations.

Proficiency in Workday integration tools including Workday Studio, EIB, Workday Cloud Connect, Workday Web Services, and XSLT for data transformation

Strong experience with EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Workday Payroll connectors, including PECI and PICOF.

Expertise in developing and maintaining Workday Reports and calculated fields.

Strong understanding of Workday architecture, security, and integration mechanisms.

Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse and resolve complex technical issues.

Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
