Data Governance

Key Responsibilities :

Develop, implement, and manage data governance frameworks, policies, and procedures to ensure the effective management of data assets.

Collaborate with business units to define data quality standards, metadata management processes, and data ownership responsibilities.

Monitor and enforce data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with internal standards and external regulatory requirements (e.g., GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA).

Conduct data quality assessments, identify data issues, and work with stakeholders to implement corrective actions.

Facilitate the establishment of data stewardship roles and responsibilities across the organization.

Manage data classification, data lineage, and metadata management processes to ensure transparency and traceability of data across the enterprise.

Collaborate with IT teams to implement and maintain data governance tools (e.g., data catalogs, master data management systems).

Provide ongoing support and guidance to business teams to enhance data literacy and promote a culture of data-driven decision-making.

Support data privacy initiatives by ensuring compliance with data protection regulations and internal policies.

Analyze data governance trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to recommend improvements to existing frameworks and tools.

Design and deliver training sessions on data governance best practices, data quality, and data privacy.
