About the job :
The role involves leading local IT projects and supporting global initiatives in India. Responsibilities include maintaining infrastructure, collaborating with IT centers, and ensuring alignment with Nipro Europe's IT team. Priorities include delivering exceptional customer service, optimizing IT processes, and managing vendor relationships. Additionally, the role encompasses overseeing service delivery for Nipro Europe and supporting operations in a Tally Prime environment with a focus on continuous improvement.
What you’ll do :
- Overall responsible for all Major IT transformation & integration Projects in India including roll-out of global projects at local / India level.
- Propose projects to HQ with project outlines, scope & budget & close follow-up on the implementation. Work closely with Chief Information Officer and Global IT Project Manager in order to maintain parity with standard Global IT strategies.
- Monitor daily operations with regards to service desk. Propose projects to improve services to end users for all Nipro Europe.
- Propose a generic CAB process and ensure all IT departments follow the CAB instructions. Coordinate the CAB.
- Vendor relationship with our service desk provider.
- Monitor local Infrastructure e.g. server hardware, network, software & operating systems. Pro-actively work together with the different IT Center of Excellence to resolve any issue.
- Assisting in testing, installing and upgrading IT systems and services, supporting data storage and backup / restore activities.
- SPOC for local business on any IT related questions, manage local IT budget and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Assisting in defining and documenting IT procedures mainly in the area of service delivery e.g. incident / change / problem management.
- Create and drive a culture of exceptional customer experience. Manage and coach the service desk and local support team, giving guidance, sharing best practices, and helping out where necessary. Improve staff skills and extend knowledge base.
- Monitor IT-Services to plan and take proactive measures to improve the services. Within Service Delivery (Service Desk) : Identify, document, and implement best practices processes.
- Negotiate together with procurement team for Service Agreements with external providers.
- Management of CCTV surveillance system, Meeting Room VC devices and Telephone system.
What you’ll need :
Solid infrastructure knowledge around Network (Fortinet, Cisco), Security and datacenter (VMWare, Veeam). Cloud knowledge (Azure) is a PLUS.ITIL certification or knowing ITIL foundations.Vendor management to deliver excellent service delivery to end customers.Good knowledge of Automation / Manufacturing Execution Systems.Experience of working within a global virtual team.Experience of working in Tally Prime environment is an asset and experience of working in ERP (SAP / Oracle / JD Edwards etc.) environment is ‘good to have’.Excellent communication and inter-personal skills.Knowledge on ISO27001 / 2 certification is a PLUS.Graduate in any specialization with / Diploma / Degree in Computer Science / Hardware & NetworkingGood understanding of IT Environment & Functional business needs with 7 to 9 years of Experience.Please read the job description carefully and apply only if you comply with 90% of the responsibilities.What We’ll Offer
