We’re looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join our growing team as the first hire in outbound sales . This is a foundational role where you’ll play a key part in building our outbound engine. The ideal candidate is skilled in navigating complex organizations, understands programmatic advertising(preferred, not mandatory), and thrives in creating account-specific strategies to open meaningful conversations with decision-makers.
You’ll be focusing on large web publishers in North America , identifying their pain points, and building a robust pipeline for Mile’s sales team.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Prospecting : Identify and engage decision-makers within large media and publishing organizations.
- Account-Based Outreach : Develop and execute tailored strategies for each target account to address specific needs and challenges.
- Pipeline Generation : Consistently deliver a strong pipeline by meeting and exceeding monthly outreach and lead generation goals.
- Understanding Programmatic Tech : Stay up to date on programmatic advertising trends and be able to articulate Mile’s value proposition effectively.
- CRM Management : Track outreach efforts and manage the sales pipeline using tools like HubSpot or Salesforce.
- Collaborative Alignment : Work closely with marketing and product teams to refine messaging, develop assets, and align on go-to-market strategies.
What We’re Looking For
Experience : 1-3 years in an outbound SDR or similar role, preferably in SaaS or enterprise sales targeting North American markets.Market Know-how : Experience working with large organizations and understanding the nuances of longer sales cycles.Communication Skills : Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling, customer-specific outreach messages.Results-Driven : A proven track record of achieving or exceeding pipeline goals in current and past roles.Self-Starter : Comfortable working in an early-stage, high-growth environment with minimal supervision.About Mile
