Job Summary :

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to lead the design and review of mechanical components for Sewage Treatment Plants (STP), Water Treatment Plants (WTP), and Water Supply Schemes . The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in mechanical system design, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design and Review : Develop and review mechanical system designs for STP, WTP, and water supply schemes.
  • Equipment Selection : Select, size, and specify mechanical equipment such as pumps, valves, piping, and blowers.
  • Technical Drawings : Prepare and evaluate mechanical design drawings, specifications, and BOQs.
  • Standards Compliance : Ensure designs meet relevant national and international codes (e.g., IS, ASME, API).
  • Site Coordination : Collaborate with site engineers and project teams to ensure proper implementation.
  • Cost Optimization : Work on cost-effective and energy-efficient mechanical design solutions.
  • Vendor Coordination : Interact with vendors for technical evaluations and approvals.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization : Provide technical support for system troubleshooting and performance improvement.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

  • Education : B.E. / B.Tech / M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience : Minimum 3 years of experience in designing mechanical systems for STP, WTP, and water supply projects.
  • Technical Expertise : Proficiency in mechanical design software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.).
  • Industry Knowledge : Understanding of fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, and wastewater treatment processes.
  • Regulatory Knowledge : Familiarity with industry standards like CPHEEO, BIS, ISO, and ASME.
  • Soft Skills : Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and teamwork.

    • Preferred Skills (Optional) :

  • Experience in EPC projects related to water and wastewater treatment.
  • Pump efficiency calculation using flowmeters
