Fintech Sandboxing and Licensing Specialist - Global Consulting Firm - Contractual Role

Our client, a global consulting firm, is engaged in a strategic project with a major bank to enhance its FinTech ecosystem by optimizing sandboxing and licensing processes. The role is critical in ensuring compliance, managing risks, and driving innovation in financial services. This project offers a unique opportunity to work at the forefront of FinTech regulation, blending regulatory expertise with cutting-edge innovation to create a sustainable financial ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities :

The FinTech Sandboxing and Licensing Specialist will play a pivotal role in assessing and enhancing regulatory processes, ensuring compliance, and supporting risk management in the rapidly evolving FinTech landscape.

Key responsibilities include :

Analyzing and evaluating FinTech Sandbox and Licensing Applications with a strong focus on regulatory, compliance, and risk management criteria.

Collaborating with internal teams and stakeholders to identify process enhancements and ensure alignment with regulatory frameworks.

Providing expert recommendations to approve or reject applications based on thorough assessments.

Supporting the consulting team with ad-hoc tasks to ensure project objectives are met.

Engaging with clients directly to present findings, provide insights, and address queries Skills and Experience :

Minimum of 10+ years of experience in risk management, regulatory compliance, and financial services.

Profound understanding of FinTech Sandboxing and Licensing processes and their regulatory frameworks.

Strong expertise in evaluating applications from a risk and compliance perspective.

Experience working within consulting firms or similar advisory environments.

Preferred Qualifications :

A background in cybersecurity or technical knowledge in financial services.

Proficiency in English, with Arabic being a strong advantage.
