Job Description
- Assemble desktop and mini computer systems according to specifications, including installation of hardware components such as motherboards, CPUs, memory, storage devices, and power supplies.
- Conduct thorough testing of assembled systems to ensure they meet quality standards and function as intended. This includes running diagnostic software and performing performance assessments.
- Identify, diagnose, and resolve hardware and software issues. Provide effective solutions to ensure optimal performance and reliability of computer systems.
- Maintain high-quality standards throughout the assembly process, ensuring that all products meet company and industry specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of assembly processes, testing outcomes, and any issues encountered during assembly. Document solutions and share knowledge with team members.
- Assist in managing inventory of computer parts and supplies, ensuring that all necessary components are available for assembly.
- Work closely with other team members, including engineers and quality assurance personnel, to optimize assembly processes and improve product quality.
- Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent or degree in computer technology or a related field is a plus.Previous experience in computer assembly, repair, or IT support preferred.Strong understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems.Proficient in using hand tools and diagnostic equipment.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical individualsRequirements
