Nature of Work : Full Time, Direct Hiring, Permanent

Experience : 4-8 Years

We seek an experienced Functional Consultant specializing in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (BC) and Finance and Operations (F&O). This role involves leading the implementation, customization, and optimization of D365 solutions for our clients. The ideal candidate will have deep functional knowledge, good client-facing skills, and a successful project delivery track record.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Requirements Gathering & Analysis
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify business needs and translate them into system requirements.
  • Conduct workshops and interviews to map processes and identify gaps.
  • Solution Design & Configuration
  • Design and configure D365 Business Central and Finance & Operations solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Develop functional specifications for customizations and integrations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to design, test, and deploy custom solutions and integrations.
  • Knowledge of the software industry to deliver tailored solutions that address client-specific challenges.
  • Provide insights into best practices and trends in software product lifecycle management and subscription-based business models.
  • Project Management and Client Engagement
  • Work closely with stakeholders to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for functional requirements during project lifecycles.
  • Ensure solutions meet client expectations and industry standards.
  • Deliver end-user training and provide ongoing support during and post-implementation.
  • Implementation & Deployment
  • Lead and execute end-to-end implementations, including system setup, data migration, testing, and go-live support.
  • Provide hands-on guidance and ensure timely project delivery.
  • Client Support & Training
  • Offer post-implementation support, troubleshoot issues, and ensure user adoption.
  • Deliver training sessions to end-users and internal teams.
  • Collaboration and Continuous Improvement
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including technical consultants, developers, and project managers.
  • Stay updated on the latest D365 features, capabilities, and industry trends.
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and best practice frameworks.
  • Recommend and implement process optimizations for clients.

Education and Certification

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certifications (e.g., MB-800, MB-310, MB-330) preferred.
  • Experience

  • Minimum 4+ years of experience implementing and supporting Microsoft Dynamics solutions, with at least 3 years focusing on Business Central and F&O.
  • Proven track record of multiple full-cycle implementations.
  • Technical Skills

  • Comprehensive knowledge of D365 modules and their interdependencies.
  • In-depth understanding of ERP processes and best practices across multiple industries.
  • Proficiency in reporting and analytics tools, such as Power BI.
  • Familiarity with Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps) and third-party integrations is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of data migration tools and methodologies.
  • Proficiency in data migration, reporting tools, and system integration methodologies.
  • Expertise in creating functional documentation and user guides
  • Soft Skills

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities, with experience in client-facing roles.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams and adapt to dynamic environments
