Responsibilities

  • Ability to influence own team and stakeholders Impacted by the project, with understanding of the projects they are part of.
  • Can effectively translates business needs into detailed requirements.
  • Serve as a liaison between Business and IT to assist or gather business requirements needed for system modifications, enhancements and implementations.
  • Collaborate effectively with stakeholders to elicit, define, and develop BSA deliverables for small, complex / non-complex initiatives.
  • View, understand, explain, and plan complex, cross-functional systems / applications from both the high level, overall perspective and the detailed, task level.
  • Analyzes and evaluates business requirements, consults with personnel from various departments and identifies areas for the development of technical solutions to automate and / or improve business processes. Provides recommendations on new or enhanced systems / applications and modifications.
  • Coordinates and conducts user training sessions; develops and updates user documentation, written instructions, training guides, manuals and materials for users and applications support staff; meets with users to provide information regarding system changes and enhancements and to address any questions or issues.
  • Demonstrates advanced elicitation, facilitation skills and coaches / mentors individuals and teams to reach their full potential. Actively creates learning opportunities and celebrates successes. Provides clear and respectful feedback to promote growth and development.
  • Supervise / Guide Junior BSAs (within same team OR cross-functional teams) to coach, mentor and help them grow in their professional journey.

Mandatory Skills

  • Experience of 8 -13 year as a Business Analyst in IFRS 17 insurance and accounting standards.
  • Experience of working with Insurance company or related financial institution and understand its business processes.
  • Knowledgeable in SDLC and Agile methodology.
  • Experienced in Agile way of working.
  • Proficiency on MS Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong Knowledge on JIRA Cloud.
  • Experience in using Collaboration tools for e.g. MIRO
  • Hands-on Knowledge on SQL
