Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to join our Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and hiring top talent for multiple projects and departments within the organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring that Samvedna is equipped with high-performing and passionate individuals aligned with our mission and values.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with department heads and project teams to understand hiring requirements.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment life cycle for roles across the organization (NGO operations, project teams, field staff, support staff, etc.).
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies via job portals, social media, professional networks, referrals, and campus recruitment.
  • Screen resumes, conduct preliminary interviews, and coordinate technical and final interviews.
  • Ensure timely and effective communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Maintain and update recruitment trackers, databases, and reports.
  • Manage offer rollouts, salary negotiations, and onboarding formalities in coordination with the HR Operations team.
  • Support employer branding initiatives and candidate engagement activities.
  • Assist in refining recruitment policies and implementing best practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • MBA in Human Resource Management from a recognized institution.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in talent acquisition or recruitment (preferably in development sector or social enterprises).
  • Strong sourcing and networking skills across various platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and coordination abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with ATS is a plus.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple positions simultaneously.
  • Passion for social impact and alignment with the organization’s mission.
