Overview

This role will help us drive accelerated growth results in the DX team by supporting the Senior Director of Category Leadership in driving the PepsiCo agenda with retailers and scaling best practices across the DX team.

Specifically, this person will provide a consistent structure for retailer discussions ( Joint Business Planning, Food Marketing Institute connects, etc) and identification of opportunities through local analysis, such as modeling retailer profitability.

Primary responsibilities include creating and sharing visually compelling customer presentations on overall PepsiCo results, driving tool clean up to support customer presentations ( hierarchy clean ups), modeling retailer profitability by linking scan data with shipment metric, and scaling best practices across PepsiCo Business Units within the Region.

This person will also support ad hoc analysis as needed to support projects such as Annual Operations Planning meetings and internal strategy projects.

Responsibilities

Support 39+ Region Retail teams with PepsiCo story

  • Maintain and update PepsiCo totals that align with each PepsiCo Business Unit in IRI
  • Work with Senior Director of Category Leadership to create and update PepsiCo up front for retailer presentations
  • Update PepsiCo pages for key retail meetings and help manage overall deck and ad hoc PepsiCo content and analysis as needed
  • Work with IRI and other vendors as needed to align hierarchies and outputs to aligned PepsiCo totals

Maintain and scale PFNA retailer profitability model

  • Link scan and shipment data to update model on PepsiCo profitability
  • Create and present summaries on findings to PBNA Sales and Category Leadership teams to drive more effective Joint Business Planning discussions with retailers
  • Refine approach and automate for sharing across other PepsiCo HUBs and Business Units
  • Scale Best Practices across the Category Leadership Team

  • Partner with Sector Leadership Team to scale Best Practices Across the Region Category Team
  • Best Practices to include Customer Presentations, DX Tools and the development of innovation solutions to meet emerging needs such as localizing shopper macro trends within sub-sets of the Region, Michigan versus Maine
  • Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s degree in marketing, management or analytics
  • Ability to convert data sets into impactful visualizations, leveraging visualization solutions and develop insight synthesis & presentation.
  • Strong design thinking and track record of developing insights for CPG datasets
  • High degree of familiarity with CPG and Food & Beverage industry data sources, including syndicated data and insights providers like IRI / Nielsen, Kantar, Edge by Ascential, Euromonitor, etc.
  • Commercial experience (marketing, sales, category management) and / or insights experience preferred.
  • Strong collaborator : Interested in and motivated by working with others; willing and able to embrace Responsive Ways of Working
  • Operational experience from business servicing sector and / or consulting experience a plus.
  • Language : English Fluent
