About the Role
We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist with a strong background in Freight Forwarding or Logistics to join our team. This role requires a well-rounded HR professional who can manage recruitment, employee relations, compliance, training, and other HR functions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition & Onboarding :
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for logistics, supply chain, and freight forwarding roles.
- Conduct onboarding and orientation programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
- Employee Relations & Compliance :
- Address employee grievances and ensure a positive work environment.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Handle disciplinary procedures, terminations, and conflict resolution.
- Payroll & Compensation :
- Collaborate with finance to process payroll, bonuses, and benefits.
- Ensure adherence to statutory requirements (PF, ESI, gratuity, etc.).
- Training & Development :
- Identify skill gaps and coordinate training programs.
- Conduct workshops on compliance, soft skills, and leadership development.
- HR Operations & Performance Management :
- Implement HR policies, maintain records, and manage HRMS software.
- Drive performance appraisals and feedback sessions.
- Workforce Planning & Employee Engagement :
- Develop employee engagement activities to enhance workplace culture.
- Monitor attendance, leaves, and workforce planning.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s / Master’s in HR, Business Administration, or related field.3-5+ years of HR experience, preferably in Freight Forwarding or Logistics.Strong knowledge of labor laws, compliance, and HR best practices.Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.Proficiency in HRMS software & Microsoft Office.Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic industry.
