IOS Lead
Reports To : Engineering Lead
Location : Bangalore
Purpose & Overview
The responsibility of the mobile IOS Lead is to provide technology solutions for projects and daily support. The Lead ensures adherence to current standards and maintains a commitment to high quality development and implementations. This individual will provide technology expertise and guidance, remaining current with emerging technologies and industry best practices.

o Mobile initiatives (enhancements or project) : (not all inclusive)
o The mobile developer will be required to design, develop, test, document, deploy, support and sustain the mobile apps for iPhone, iPad.
o Collaborate with UX for product definition and use cases
o Assist with defining technical and functional user stories

oIdentifies and drives continuous improvement initiatives, streamlining work and improving support.
oInitiates activities and projects in order to support current and future business.
oIdentifies and implements opportunities for innovation and process improvement
oAbility to explain technical aspects of a solution to a non-technical audience

oBuilds and maintains strong partnership with internal and external customers.
Qualifications
Qualifications
o Experience leading a team of developers in a fast paced Agile environment
o Strong experience working with business units to understand requirements and objectives
o Ability to break down business requirements into prioritized technical work
o Cross functional development with iOS and Android is desired.
o Experience and understanding of one or more major relational database management system.
o Strong mobile UI design and implementation experience, including prototyping
o Continuous Delivery and Continuous Integration
o Test Driven Development (TDD)
o Experience and passion to work in a fast paced Agile environment, delivering functional features in small time durations
o Strong in depth knowledge in iOS SDK , device APIs, Swift and objective C
o Expertise in integrating with various back end services
o Expertise in developing custom widgets with flexibility and reusability in mind
o Expertise in Publishing mobile applications to Apple App Store and Enterprise (internal) app stores
o Expertise with source control ( Bitbucket, Git )
o Strong understanding of REST &SOAP
o Good knowledge of XCode, iOS build process, code signing, framework creation.
o Good knowledge on dependency managers, preferably Swift Package Manager (SPM)
o Expertise in app memory management, multithreading, networking & Security
o Expertise in developing responsive UI for mobile devices
Skill Level
o Overall 8+ years of IT experience in native mobile application development
o Minimum 5 years’ experience in of published examples of mobile applications on the App store
o Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or Management Information Systems or equivalent combination of relevant experience and education
