We are seeking a dedicated and customerfocused Guest Service Associate (GSA) Front Office to join our team in Visakhapatnam India. As the face of our hotel you will play a crucial role in ensuring exceptional guest experiences from checkin to checkout.
- Warmly greet and welcome guests providing a friendly and professional first impression
- Efficiently manage the checkin and checkout processes ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
- Handle guest inquiries requests and complaints promptly and empathetically
- Coordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve issues
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of hotel services local attractions and events to assist guests
- Process reservations room assignments and billing accurately
- Manage cash transactions and reconcile accounts at the end of each shift
- Collaborate with the front office team to ensure smooth operations and excellent service
- Assist in training and mentoring new team members
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
- Adapt to changing situations and handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Ensure compliance with hotel policies and safety procedures
Qualifications :
Hotel Management Graduate / Diploma or equivalent qualificationStrong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanorExcellent communication abilities in English; multilingual skills are a plusProven experience in problemsolving and conflict resolutionProficiency in hotel management software and reservation systemsAttention to detail and strong organizational skillsBasic accounting and cash handling abilitiesFlexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidaysTeam player with the ability to work collaboratively in a fastpaced environmentKnowledge of hotel operations and front office proceduresPrevious experience in hospitality or customer service preferredAbility to remain calm and efficient under pressureProficiency in Microsoft Office suiteAdditional Information :
