Key Responsibilities :

Customer Service :

Greet passengers upon arrival and assist them with check-in and boarding procedures.

Provide information about flight details, delays, and airport services.

Handle passenger inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide solutions to any issues passengers may encounter during their airport experience.

Assist passengers with special needs, including elderly, disabled, or unaccompanied minors.

Baggage Handling :

Ensure the proper loading and unloading of luggage, making sure its securely and safely transported to and from the aircraft.

Operate baggage claim systems, ensuring the timely delivery of passenger luggage to the appropriate carousel.

Assist in the sorting and tracking of baggage, ensuring that all bags reach the correct destination.

Safety and Security :

Ensure compliance with airport security protocols, including screening passengers and luggage as necessary.

Perform security checks on aircraft before boarding and ensure all safety equipment is functioning properly.

Work closely with airport security teams to ensure passenger safety and prevent unauthorized access to restricted areas.

Aircraft and Terminal Assistance :

Coordinate with pilots and flight crews to ensure the timely turnaround of aircraft.

Assist in the boarding process, making sure passengers board in an organized and efficient manner.

Monitor and direct aircraft ground movements, including marshalling, towing, and parking of aircraft.

Operational Support :

Provide operational support for ground handling equipment, such as tugs, conveyor belts, and aircraft stairs.

Monitor weather and flight conditions, adjusting ground operations as necessary.

Keep accurate records of activities related to aircraft handling, luggage, and other operational tasks.

Key Qualifications and Skills :

Communication Skills : Strong verbal communication skills are a must for interacting with passengers, crew members, and colleagues.

Attention to Detail : Accuracy in processing check-ins, baggage handling, and ensuring flight details are correct is essential.
