Introduction :

As a member of the ground staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of daily airport activities and providing excellent customer service to passengers. Key Responsibilities :
Assist passengers with check-in, boarding, and ticketing procedures.
Handle any passenger inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.Provide assistance to passengers with special needs, including unaccompanied minors, elderly passengers, or passengers with disabilities.Ensure that all documents are correctly verified, and luggage is properly checked.Baggage Services :Assist in the loading and unloading of passenger luggage from aircraft.
Ensure the safe and accurate handling of baggage, preventing any damage or loss.Manage baggage claims, resolving any issues related to delayed or lost baggage in a timely manner.Ensure compliance with baggage policies and regulations.Aircraft Ground Support :Operate ground handling equipment, such as tugs, conveyor belts, and jet bridges, ensuring efficient movement of aircraft to and from gates.
Coordinate with flight crew, air traffic controllers, and other airport personnel to ensure timely departures and arrivals.Perform aircraft pushback and tow procedures safely and in accordance with airport regulations.Monitor and report any operational issues that may affect the turnaround time of aircraft.Safety and Security :Maintain a high level of safety standards in all airport operations.
Ensure compliance with airport security procedures, including screening passengers and luggage.Regularly inspect airport facilities, equipment, and ground operations to ensure they meet safety regulations and are in good working order.Respond to emergency situations and assist in crowd control when necessary.Customer Service :Greet and assist passengers in a courteous and professional manner.
Provide information regarding flight schedules, delays, and airport services.Handle customer complaints or concerns with empathy and professionalism, escalating issues to higher management when necessary.Ensure a positive experience for passengers throughout their journey at the airport.Team Collaboration :Work closely with other ground staff, flight crew, and airport personnel to ensure smooth operational processes.
Contribute to a team-oriented work environment by offering support and assistance to colleagues when needed.Participate in training and development sessions to stay updated on airport policies, procedures, and customer service practices.Qualifications :
High school diploma or equivalent (required).Previous experience in airport ground services or customer service is an advantage, but not mandatory.Strong communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Basic knowledge of safety and security procedures.Must be physically fit to lift and carry luggage, operate ground equipment, and handle various physical tasks.A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.Benefits :
