Job description

Role Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and oversee all logistics activities for onsite projects.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to identify logistics requirements and develop strategies to meet project objectives.
  • Manage the procurement process for materials needed for projects, including sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and placing orders.
  • Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery of materials to the project site and resolve any issues or delays as needed.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, shipping schedules, and procurement transactions.
  • Manage budgets, expenses, and procurement transactions to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to budgetary constraints.
  • Utilize tracking systems to monitor inventory levels, shipment statuses, and financial performance, providing regular updates and reports to relevant stakeholders.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, documentation, and other records related to logistics activities for the onsite projects.
  • Identify and mitigate risks to ensure seamless execution of operational activities.
  • Complete all other tasks that are deemed appropriate for this role and assigned by the manager / supervisor.
