We are actively seeking an experienced AWS cloud engineer with a DevOps background to join our Cloud Solutions and Enablement team. In this role you will be responsible for building and supporting an existing set of platform-based services designed to accelerate adoption and delivery of cloud native solutions across the organization, safely and at scale.

In this hands-on role, the ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of cloud computing, networking, monitoring, infrastructure as code, containers, automation, CI / CD processes, and agile. To be successful in the role you should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, quick to learn new technologies, and willing to collaborate across teams and provide solutions. The ideal candidate should have a hunger for continuous learning, problem solving, and keeping up to date with the latest technologies and industry trends.

What you’ll be doing...

• Collaborating with engineering and development professionals to evaluate requirements and facilitate deployment of cloud-based solutions that meet the organization’s needs.
• Build, maintain, and support platform-based solutions that enable teams to deploy both existing and new cloud-based services rapidly, safely, and at scale.
• Integrate, monitor, and support 3rd party platforms such as Atlassian, Atlas, GitHub, and DataDog.
• Develop, maintain, and implement governance processes for applications targeting cloud deployment, including standards for monitoring, threat management, and data protection, and cost management.
• Be a contact point for teams that require assistance in cloud onboarding, design, implementation, and support of new and existing cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain a core set of shared Terraform modules, GitHub workflows, and reference architectures designed to streamline cloud team onboarding and service delivery.
