The Dow Chemical Information Systems organization has an opportunity for Project Teat Lead (Associate Information Technology Analyst) role located in the Enterprise Systems Services (ESS) Portfolio Acceleration Team (PAT). The role’s primary responsibilities will be to plan, organize, and manage the execution of various project test cycles. These projects will vary in size and complexity and you would be expected to support multiple concurrent projects and testing cycles. The projects are primarily in the Information Technology space but the scope of the projects could be in any area (examples are software upgrade, SAP system change, SAP bolt-on application implementation, application enhancement, etc.). The role is part of a team that also includes scrum masters, project managers, and integration specialists thus this role will have the opportunity to contribute to those other areas as demand requires.
Responsibilities
You will Plan, lead, and facilitate the execution of project testing cycles (e.g. : component testing, assembly testing, product testing, user acceptance testing).
Encourage testing team to meet agreed upon targets (e.g.% script completion) and escalate concerns to Senior Test Leaders for resolution.
Provide metrics reporting for test events (e.g. test set completion statistics).
Track, monitor, and facilitate the resolution of defects found during testing events.
Provide metrics reporting for defects and their resolution.
Act as scrum master, project manager, or integration specialist for other projects as assigned.
Qualifications
A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in management information systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or similar field.
At least 3 years of relevant, technology related experience.
Preferred Skills
Experience of 2 years in test leadership or test execution.
Familiarity with various testing tools such as HP ALM, Azure DevOps, or equivalent.
Able to work in a fast-paced work environment and handle a variety of tasks simultaneously.
Strong interpersonal skills.
Must be comfortable communicating and interacting with a variety of people
Be detailed oriented.
Strong organizational skills.
