Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Legal Secretary to join our team in Delhi on a full-time basis. The candidate will be responsible for supporting our legal department with various administrative and research tasks. This mid-level position requires a maximum of 6 years of relevant work experience. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional management and communication skills, with proficiency in legal technologies.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Proficiency in legal research with the ability to analyze and interpret legal documents and case law (Mandatory skill).
  • Solid experience in using document management software for efficiently organizing legal documentation (Mandatory skill).
  • Expertise in case management software to effectively manage legal cases and ensure timely updates (Mandatory skill).
  • Capability to conduct comprehensive research using legal databases like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
  • Proven track record of using e-filing systems for managing electronic submissions of legal documents.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for drafting, reviewing, and editing legal correspondence.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive legal information.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence on behalf of the company.
  • Perform comprehensive and accurate legal research to support the companys business objectives.
  • Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring easy retrieval and management of documents.
  • Interface with internal departments to consolidate necessary information and prepare for meetings.
  • Manage schedules and deadlines to ensure optimal functioning of the legal department.
  • Coordinate with external legal teams and stakeholders when necessary.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and inform the team about any necessary adjustments in company practice.
  • Provide administrative support such as answering calls, managing correspondence, and scheduling meetings.
