Qualifications and Skills
- Proficiency in legal research with the ability to analyze and interpret legal documents and case law (Mandatory skill).
- Solid experience in using document management software for efficiently organizing legal documentation (Mandatory skill).
- Expertise in case management software to effectively manage legal cases and ensure timely updates (Mandatory skill).
- Capability to conduct comprehensive research using legal databases like LexisNexis and Westlaw.
- Proven track record of using e-filing systems for managing electronic submissions of legal documents.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for drafting, reviewing, and editing legal correspondence.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and integrity in handling sensitive legal information.
Roles and Responsibilities
Assist attorneys in the preparation of legal documents and correspondence on behalf of the company.Perform comprehensive and accurate legal research to support the companys business objectives.Maintain and organize legal files, ensuring easy retrieval and management of documents.Interface with internal departments to consolidate necessary information and prepare for meetings.Manage schedules and deadlines to ensure optimal functioning of the legal department.Coordinate with external legal teams and stakeholders when necessary.Monitor regulatory changes and inform the team about any necessary adjustments in company practice.Provide administrative support such as answering calls, managing correspondence, and scheduling meetings.
