With a concept inspired by nostalgia, we aim to serve comfort food classics from the 90s, reimagined with a modern twist. The menu will feature modern Indian cuisine alongside select Continental and Italian offerings, catering to tech-savvy professionals and premium residential customers in the area.
Job Summary
The Executive Chef will spearhead the culinary team, creating a menu that combines nostalgia with innovation. This role requires a creative chef who can experiment and present dishes with a fresh perspective, elevating them beyond their original form. The candidate will ensure the highest standards of food quality, hygiene, and consistency while managing all aspects of the kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities
Menu Innovation and Development
- Conceptualize and design a menu that reflects the 90s comfort food classics with a modern twist.
- Experiment with ingredients, techniques, and presentations to create unique and memorable dishes.
- Incorporate a blend of modern Indian, Continental, and Italian cuisine into the menu.
Culinary Leadership
Lead, train, and motivate the kitchen team to deliver exceptional food quality.Establish standard recipes and plating guidelines to ensure consistency across all dishes.Oversee all kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.Quality Control and Hygiene
Maintain the highest standards of food hygiene and safety in compliance with local regulations.Conduct regular audits of kitchen operations to ensure quality and efficiency.Manage inventory and control food costs without compromising quality.Team Management
Recruit, train, and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a culture of creativity and excellence.Monitor staff performance and provide feedback to ensure continuous improvement.Create a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation.Guest Experience
Work closely with the front-of-house team to understand guest preferences and feedback.Ensure that the culinary experience aligns with the restaurant’s concept and brand.Participate in promotional events and menu tastings to engage with guests.Qualifications and Skills
Experience : Minimum of 8–10 years in a professional kitchen, with at least 3 years as an Executive Chef in a speciality dining setting.Education : Degree or diploma in Culinary Arts or a related field.Skills :Strong creative and experimental culinary skills.Expertise in modern Indian, Continental, and Italian cuisines.Excellent leadership, communication, and team-building abilities.Proficiency in kitchen management software and cost control.Key Competencies
