The Job

You will be responsible for :

  • Collecting quotations from various vendors against purchase requisition.
  • Making a comparison of received quotations for rate quality etc for analysis and finalization
  • Create Relationships with vendor by finding out their performance from market and take initiatives towards : -
  • Improvement in projects with them.
  • Effective coordination with all sites. Regular site visits.
  • Creating strong networking within and outside the organization.
  • Continuous monitoring, review & taking timely corrective action to achieve the targets
  • Expert in construction material handling end to end procurement of the assigned material and ensure timely delivery of materials at sites and timely payment to suppliers.
  • Enhance value of the product / services and make annual rate contracts obtain alternate products / vendors or substituting the OEM's.
  • Control Inventory by optimizing lot size and reducing delivery lead time.
  • Ensure materials purchased are according with company requirement.
  • Assist in daily operational purchasing needs such as planning, issuing and following up on Purchase Orders delivery and shipment schedules
  • Assist in evaluate supplier performance based on quality standards, delivery time & best prices and ensure all the criteria are met according to the organizational requirements and expectation.
  • Continuous monitoring, review & taking timely corrective action to achieve the targets

    • The Profile

  • You have at least 7 years experience ideally as a Buying / Procurement within Real Estate.
  • You possess excellent negotiating skills with a strong ability to influence people of all levels.
  • You are a strong networker & relationship builder
  • You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work that is of a high standard
  • You possess strong analytical skills and are comfortable dealing with numerical data
  • You are willing to undertake 0-30% travel.
  • Full knowledge of BOQ / SPECIFICATION of Core knowledge of each item.
  • Responsible for negotiation & purchase of material related to civil construction in Real Estate and Infra Projects.
  • Knowledge of making Work Order, Purchase Order on Word / Excel
