Primary role : As a Director-Business Architect, you will be responsible for aligning our business objectives with technology solutions, utilizing your expertise in business analysis, architecture principles, and design. You will work closely with stakeholders across various departments to understand business processes, identify areas for improvement, and develop innovative solutions to drive organizational growth and efficiency. What you'll do :
- Engage in the analysis, design, and execution phases of Odessa's platform solution.
- Apply specialized knowledge of the Odessa platform to steer the design and implementation of our solution offering.
- Conduct thorough requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and initial client discovery efforts, both onsite and offshore.
- Produce comprehensive requirement specifications, functional specifications, user stories, and oversee requirements management throughout the project lifecycle.
- Aid in gap analysis, business process redesign, roadmap planning, and the creation of proof-of-concepts.
- Cultivate strong client relationships by establishing trust, rapport, and effective working relationships with key sponsors, stakeholders, and team members.
- Mentor Senior Business Analysts and Business Analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
- Offer functional support to clients during the user acceptance testing process, both onsite and offshore. Basic qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Management Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree or MBA preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in business analysis, business architecture, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in business analysis methodologies, techniques, and tools.
- Design experience in areas such as user experience (UX) design, process design, data design, visual communication, or service design.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex ideas to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Proven leadership abilities, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and mentor junior team members.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a demonstrated ability to align business objectives with technology solutions.
- Industry knowledge and experience in [core banking / lending or leasing].
- Experience collaborating with stakeholders and customers in Europe is advantageous. Preferred Qualifications :
- Familiarity with multiple implementation standards and methodologies, including Agile
- Experience working with SQL, relational databases
- Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence
- Familiarity with leading banking or lending applications
- Ability to clearly articulate the solution being developed with all the stakeholders
