Pocket FM is a fast-growing audio-series platform delivering immersive, long-form content with audio series spanning over 100+ hours. Our platform attracts users through large-scale Facebook, TikTok, and YouTube Ad Campaigns, driving app installs and engagement. We are seeking a Senior Video Editor to lead our performance marketing video content team

Job Location : Bangalore, Koramangala

Key Responsibilities :

Direct Taxation :

  • Ensure timely filing of Income Tax Returns and other statutory reports.
  • Handle TDS compliance – deduction, deposit, and filing of TDS / TCS returns.
  • Assist in tax assessments, audits, and appeals before tax authorities.
  • Calculate advance tax liability and ensure timely payments.
  • Stay updated on income tax amendments and regulatory changes.
  • Handle corporate tax planning and optimization strategies.
  • Maintain proper documentation for transfer pricing and assist in audits.

Indirect Taxation (GST & Other Taxes)

  • Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, GSTR-9, GSTR-9C, etc.) within the prescribed deadlines.
  • Conduct GST reconciliations (GSTR 2A / 2B vs. Books) to ensure accuracy.
  • Stay updated on GST law amendments and regulatory changes to ensure compliance.
  • Manage GST audits, assessments, and departmental queries.
  • Handle input tax credit (ITC) calculations and reconciliations.
  • Oversee processes related to E-way bills, reverse charge mechanism (RCM), and place of supply analysis.
  • Assist with GST registrations, refunds, and advisory for business operations.
  • Maintain proper documentation and record-keeping for GST compliance.

    • International VAT & Other Tax Responsibilities :

  • Support international tax compliance including Withholding Tax (WHT) and DTAA provisions.
  • Ensure accurate VAT return filings for international jurisdictions with the assistance of consultants.
  • Handle transfer pricing documentation and compliance for cross-border transactions.
  • Oversee VAT registration and compliance in respective countries in collaboration with consultants.

    • Key Skills & Competencies :

  • Strong knowledge of Direct & Indirect Tax laws, compliance, and filings
  • Hands-on experience in Income Tax, GST, TDS, and International Tax
  • Proficiency in Excel, Tally, Oracle or other ERP systems.
  • Understanding of audit requirements and tax planning strategies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Exposure to large-scale business operations, international taxation and transfer pricing is a plus.
