Must have :

  • Extensive JD Edwards Application knowledge across all manufacturing module functions, including Bill of Materials, routings, shop floor control, MRP, scrap recording, job costing.
  • 5+ years experience working with JD Edwards E1 9.2 application and user tools.
  • Experience with JD Edwards application upgrades.

Job Responsibilities :

We are seeking a manufacturing function specialist to be an integral part of the JD Edwards COE team. This critical role will be fundamental to supporting the global manufacturing functions of the business. Driving strategic initiatives, common standards, one-off requirements, common templates and related actions, to ensure the achievement of business goals and innovation.

This is a Technical / Functional role, and the specialist will work closely with their JD Edwards COE colleague specialists, as well as our other IT teams, and cross functional business partners.

Job Description

  • Provide JD Edwards manufacturing functional capability expertise to business processes,

    • from buying / planning through work order completion and fulfilment.

  • Provide troubleshooting support to production issues and helpdesk requests to ensure rapid

    • resolution to manufacturing related problems.

  • Ensure manufacturing functions are optimized and standardized on common JD Edwards

    • functional templates to ensure common practices and designs are adopted for all business led

    projects.

  • Provide guidance on new JD Edwards provided, or internally develop, functionality in order to

    • continue improving and enhancing manufacturing processes.

  • Support Disaster Recovery exercises including, testing assistance where required.
  • Ensure all code current upgrade regression development and testing tasks are completed

    • successfully and accurately.

  • Assist the business operations teams with annual physical inventory exercises to ensure

    • accurate inventory records are maintained.

  • Be pro-active in promoting ideas and suggestions related to any manufacturing processes that

    • the JD Edwards application is able to support.

  • Evaluating manufacturing system upgrades to ensure continued regression functionality.

    • Qualifications

  • Extensive JD Edwards Application knowledge across all manufacturing module functions,

    • including but not limited to, Bill of Materials, routings, shop floor control, MRP,

    scrap recording, job costing.

  • 5+ years experience working with JD Edwards E1 9.2 application and user tools.
  • Experience working with cross functional business teams as well as IT function colleagues.
  • Experience with JD Edwards application upgrades.
