Job Description :

We are looking for an experienced Bidding Estimator to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in construction or architecture , with expertise in cost estimation, material assessment, vendor management, and project analysis . The role involves working with US market clients , requiring excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills . Experience with Buildertrend and knowledge of research, data analysis, and estimation formulas will be a plus.

Key Responsibilities :

Solicit and review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors for accurate cost estimation.
Obtain and assess offers and bids from subcontractors or vendors to ensure competitive pricing.
Build and maintain relationships with key vendors, including subcontractors, suppliers, and engineers.
Compile a comprehensive list of materials required for each project and assess costs to ensure accuracy.
Thoroughly interpret project plans and scope when preparing bids.
Develop and maintain cost analyses to keep projects financially on track.
Identify and recommend cost-saving methods to optimize project budgets.
Review and assess daily bidding opportunities , maintaining a log of essential project details.
Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
Attend weekly meetings with the Project Management Team to review cost analyses for ongoing and prospective projects.
Create and organize project folders , ensuring all relevant documents are properly maintained.
Utilize research and data analysis methods to improve estimation accuracy.

Requirements :

Proven experience as a Bidding Estimator, Cost Engineer, or Quantity Surveyor

In-depth knowledge of research and data analysis methods and estimation formulas

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong negotiation and communication skills (written & spoken English)

Prior experience working with US market clients preferred

Construction or architecture background

Ability to work remotely and manage multiple bids efficiently

Proficiency in Buildertrend is a plus
