Product Development Associate

As an Product Development Associate, you will report to the Product Lead and drive the execution of the vision & strategy for the Web Portal and messaging channels. The candidate should have strong domain knowledge of the digital landscape and preferably with Telco background. You will work closely with internal, external stakeholders and the squad to drive the delivery. Strong initiative, communication and collaboration skills are also key for success in this role.

Responsibilities :

1. Work with Product Lead to define the roadmap for the Web Portal and messaging channels, and work alongside stakeholders to drive the delivery of it.

2. Manage and drive the product initiatives, from initial conceptualisation, design, implementation, test and launch.

3. Be able to communicate well with stakeholders in translating business requirements, uses cases into well documented user stories.

4. Engage with key stakeholders to lead and run backlog prioritisation sessions.

5. Manage the backlog grooming sessions with the squad designers and developers, evaluate solutions proposed by the squad and ensure the solution can achieve the business objectives.

6. Maintain close working relationship with development and support teams (dev, support) to resolve defects / issues.

7. Prepare acceptance criteria and conduct / manage user acceptance tests (UAT) and business readiness tests (BRT).

8. Ensure smooth rollout of the release, manage pre and post implementation activities, and conduct operation briefing sessions with customer support teams.

9. Assist in customer support to resolve customer issues where required.

10. Assist in updating pricing and message templates where required.

Requirements

1. Self-starter with initiative.

2. 2-3 years of working experience (Scrum Product Owner, Product development, Project management).

3. Familiar with digital and mobile development and trends with an eye for details.

4. Experience in online / mobile product development.

5. Must demonstrate strong analytical, problem solving, communication skills. Able to think out of the box.

6. Team player and work well under pressure and with deadlines.

7. Working understanding of system integration methods (e.g. APIs) is preferred.

8. Working understanding of database systems and ability to perform simple SQL queries is preferred.

9. Demonstrated experience with digital marketing / web analytics tools (eg. Google Optimize, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager) is preferred.

10. Experience in Telco domain is preferred.

11. Qualification of a diploma or higher education in engineering / technology
