Job Title : Storage Enterprise Senior Analyst
Job Summary : The Storage Enterprise Senior Analyst is responsible for overseeing the design, implementation, and management of the organization's storage infrastructure. This includes storage systems, data backup solutions, and ensuring the availability, reliability, and performance of storage resources.
Responsibilities :
Storage Infrastructure Management :
- Design, implement, and maintain storage solutions to meet the organization's data storage needs.
- Monitor and optimize storage performance, capacity, and efficiency.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of storage solutions with other infrastructure components.
Data Backup and Recovery :
Develop and maintain data backup and recovery strategies.Implement and manage backup solutions to ensure data integrity and availability in case of data loss or system failures.Test and validate backup and recovery procedures regularly.Storage Security :
Implement and enforce storage security policies and procedures.Ensure data confidentiality, integrity, and availability through proper access controls and encryption mechanisms.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution :
Investigate and resolve storage-related issues promptly.Collaborate with support teams and vendors to address hardware and software problems.Capacity Planning :
Conduct regular capacity planning assessments to anticipate and address future storage needs.Recommend upgrades or expansion of storage infrastructure based on usage trends and business requirements.Documentation :
Maintain comprehensive documentation of storage configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.Keep documentation up-to-date to facilitate knowledge transfer and training.Collaboration and Communication :
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and align storage solutions with organizational goals.Communicate effectively with stakeholders, providing updates on storage-related projects and issues.You will be successful in this role if you have :
Key QualificationsQualifications : Education :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Experience :
5 or above years of experience in storage infrastructure management.Experience with enterprise storage systems (SAN, NAS) and backup solutions.Technical Skills :
Proficiency in storage technologies such as EMC, NetApp, or similar.Knowledge of backup and recovery solutions (e.g., Veeam, Commvault).Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).Certifications :
Relevant certifications such as EMC Proven Professional, NetApp Certified Data Administrator, or equivalent.Analytical Skills :
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex storage issues.Communication Skills :
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and stakeholders.Adaptability :
