Job Objective :
- Responsible for activities related to substation engineering.
- Preparation, Review of engineering documents for substations.
- Provide technical support to O&M, project management and Techno commercial team.
Roles and Responsibilities :
Responsible for planning and scheduling of project engineering of substations for voltage levels from 66kV to 765kV AIS and GIS.Design & Review engineering documents related to the substation.To provide feedback to tender engineering team w.r.t. learnings during execution of project.Discussion and review of engineering documents and BOQ received from various EPCs / OEMs before finalization AIS / GIS substation packages.Coordination with internal stake holders (Secondary engg. team, civil engg. team, Mechanical engg. team) and external agencies (EPC / OEMs) for timely submission / approval of engineering documents.Monitoring of engineering document management activities pertaining to substation engineering.Take new technology initiatives for utilization of assets and cost optimization.Explore latest & state of art technology for system improvement without deviating Technical Specification.To participate in meetings / interactions with internal & external stake holders as and when required for smooth project specific engineering execution.Technical support for root cause analysis of failure / malfunction of any system related to Substation engineering.Involvement in engineering process developments, standardization, document management system, update switchyard specification as per latest standards / regulatory guidelines.Educational Qualification :
B.E. or B. Tech. in electrical engineering from reputed university
Experiences :
5-12 years of work experience in substation engineering3 years of site experience (min.) would be an added advantage.Advance level of understanding in substation engineering and design.Knowledge of IS, IEEE, CBIP, CEA, IEC etc. standards and regulatory aspects.Experience in AutoCAD, MS office tools.
