Program Associate (MPP)

Description

Kautilya School of Public Policy is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Program Associate to support the flagship Master of Public Policy (MPP) program. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in documenting and consolidating data from various teams, ensuring seamless coordination across departments and efficient program management. A strong aptitude for managing program-related documentation, coupled with organizational and communication skills, is essential for enhancing productivity and operational excellence. Qualifications

  • Education : Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business management, public policy, or related fields. Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree.
  • Experience : 1 to 2 years of experience required. Prior roles in administration or academics within an academic institution are highly preferred.
  • Skills : Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, documentation proficiency, time management, communication facilitation, and leadership abilities. Familiarity with change management principles and performance evaluation processes is an added advantage.

Role and Responsibilities

1.Documentation and Reporting

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive program records, including academic schedules, student performance, and faculty communication logs.
  • Consolidate data from various teams, ensuring accuracy and coherence in documentation for effective decision-making.
  • Assist in the preparation of detailed reports, ensuring compliance with internal and external quality assurance standards, including UGC requirements.
  • Organize and archive critical documents, ensuring easy retrieval and accuracy.
  • 2.Coordination and Communication

  • Support the General Manager (Programs) in scheduling courses and events, and ensure seamless coordination with visiting faculty and guest lecturers.
  • Maintain regular communication with stakeholders, including students, faculty, and management, ensuring timely responses and resolutions.
  • Collaborate with the admissions team to provide accurate immigration information for international students.
  • 3.Program Support and Organization

  • Assist in creating term-wise and annual course schedules, integrating co-curricular activities and mentorship programs.
  • Monitor program effectiveness by identifying competencies and areas for improvement, and proposing actionable solutions.
  • Ensure students are provided with academic and cultural counseling to support their integration into the rigorous program.
  • 4.Logistics and Operations

  • Manage logistics for guest lectures, workshops, and events, ensuring smooth execution.
  • Oversee administrative tasks, including meeting scheduling, resource allocation, and faculty coordination.
  • 5.Outreach and Relationship Management

  • Contribute to strengthening the school’s outreach efforts through partner relations, research projects, and consultation requests.
  • Act as a liaison for mentorship programs, fostering productive relationships between students and mentors.
  • Reporting Line

    The selected candidate will work closely with and report directly to the General Manager (Programs) , supporting the overall success of the program.
