Job description

Responsibilities

include :

  • Migrate on premise workloads to Azure
  • Understand the design and deploy components on Azure based on design Troubleshoot issues.
  • Proactive, predictive, maintenance activities of public cloud (Azure Infrastructure)

Required Candidate Profile :

  • Engineering Degree with 6+ years in IT
  • 6+ Years of IT Infrastructure experience
  • Should know Cloud concepts in details
  • Should know Azure offerings (Storage, OS instances, Availability zones, DR, Load balancers, etc.) in detail and should have worked on at least one migration project
  • Should have hands-on experience on at least one OS type either Windows or Linux
  • Strong virtualization hands on technologies like Hyper-V and VMWare
  • Strong networking skills
  • DevOps Tools & Azure DevOps, CD / CD Pipeline
  • AWS knowledge is an added advantage
  • Chef / puppet knowledge an added advantage
  • Should have good understanding of any scripting language like, powershell, python or JSON Process orientation

    • Process orientation :

  • Good and effective written and oral communication

    • Experience ( Preferred) :

  • Experience of working in International business environment
  • Experience in handling MS Azure

    • Skills Required :

  • Experience in developing and delivery technical solutions for Microsoft-centric solutions based on industry standards using Azure IaaS, PaaS and SaaS capabilities.
  • Hands on experience in Azure Data Factory, Azure Data Lake, Azure Storage, Azure Data Bricks, and Azure Data Lake Analytics.
  • Hands on experience in Azure SQL Datawarehouse, and SQL Analysis Service
  • Experience in Azure cognitive Search is an added advantage
  • Experience in Azure Logic Apps, and Azure Functions / Durable Functions is a plus
  • Experience in handling structured and unstructured data.
  • Software development full lifecycle methodologies, patterns, frameworks, libraries, and tools Knowledge of programming and scripting languages such as JavaScript, Angular, .NET, Python and etc.
  • Knowledge of Azure DevOps is added advantage
