Overview of the role :

  • We're looking for an experienced and detail-oriented professional to join our Payments Processing team as a Team Leader.
  • In this role, you'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal payment policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • You'll analyze payment trends, identify process improvement opportunities, and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to resolve queries efficiently.
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and the ability to work under pressure are essential.
  • Prior experience in a payments leadership role is a must.
  • This position reports directly to the Treasury Manager, with a responsibility to escalate any company-related issues as needed.
  • Key Responsibilities.

  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of all payments, including AP and Treasury, within defined TATs.
  • Manage daily payment planning, volumes, and statutory deadlines across clients.
  • Coordinate with banks and internal teams to resolve payment-related queries.
  • Track, monitor, and report payment status with supporting documentation.
  • Maintain internal trackers and ensure data accuracy at all times.
  • Identify and update process knowledge to support continuous improvement.
  • Build strong operational relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Ensure full compliance with AML procedures, policies, and escalation protocols.
  • Uphold internal controls and regulatory standards across all payment activities.
