Locations : Mumbai / Bangalore / Chandigarh Tri-city / Gurgaon.

Role Overview :

  • As a Business Development leader, you will drive new business growth for Prozo by identifying and targeting potential clients, developing and executing sales strategies, and building strong relationships to understand their needs.
  • The successful candidate will have a proven track record in D2C freight sales, achieving big sales success, and exceptional communication skills, all within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Business Planning : Develop a comprehensive business plan to acquire clients in a time-bound manner.
  • Preparing a comprehensive client acquisition strategy will be key to your success.
  • Consultative Selling : Work as a solution sales expert and create / maintain excellent relationships with clients.
  • Tailor products and pitches according to their specifications.
  • Prospect Nurturing : Nurture warm prospects and find new potential sales opportunities by understanding Prozo's offerings and the use cases we solve.
  • Lead Generation : Lead the team to generate leads and build a sales funnel via on-ground visits, cold calling, and email.
  • Pipeline Management : Manage and maintain a pipeline of interested prospects, engaging with their points of contact for the next steps.
  • Commercial Scoping and Design : Work closely with the Solution Design (Pre-sales) team to drive solution designs, work on RFPs / Requirement documents for proposals, contracts / agreement closures, and deal closures.
  • MIS & Reporting : Ensure the team maintains and updates all client information on CRM and other data points required by the CEO's & CRO's Office.
  • Qualifications :

  • 3+ years of experience in front-end business development or supply chain consulting roles.
  • Preferred Industries : 3PL warehousing & freight, contract logistics, supply chain consulting, D2C Freight Sales.
  • Strong commercial acumen.
  • Extremely strong communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • An entrepreneurial mindset, sense of ownership to genuinely solve customer problems, become a trusted advisor to customers and make things happen gets brownie points.
  • Hunter mindset.
  • Excellent team dynamics skills.
