Job Description :

We are looking for a passionate QA Engineer to join our team working on solutions for a US based client in the insurance industry. As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of software applications through manual and automated testing processes. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience with various testing tools and methodologies. You will be part of a dynamic team focused on delivering high-quality products in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities :

Perform manual and automated testing of web-based applications
Analyze business requirements and create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases
Execute test cases and log defects in a timely and detailed manner
Collaborate with development and product teams to understand requirements and resolve issues
Perform regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing
Assist in troubleshooting issues and provide detailed documentation
Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes
Document test results and provide test summary reports
Maintain and improve test automation frameworks
Ensure applications meet functional and non-functional requirements.

Requirements :

2 years of experience in software testing (manual and automation)

Experience with web application testing and backend / API testing

Proficiency in writing test cases and test scripts

Hands-on experience with tools such as Selenium, Postman, JIRA, TestNG, or similar

Strong knowledge of testing concepts and defect lifecycle

Experience with at least one programming / scripting language (Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript)

Familiarity with Agile / SCRUM development methodologies

Ability to work independently in a remote setup

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have) :

Knowledge of SQL and ability to write queries for backend testing

ISTQB certification or similar QA certification

Experience working in the insurance or e-commerce domain

Exposure to performance or security testing tools (JMeter, OWASP, etc.)
