Role Overview :
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced SharePoint Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for leveraging Microsoft's collaboration and productivity tools, specifically SharePoint Online and the Power Platform (Power Apps and Power Automate), to help organizations enhance their business processes, automate workflows, and streamline operations. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, design and implement tailored solutions, and provide ongoing support and training.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Collaboration and Requirements Gathering :
- Collaborate with clients to understand their business requirements, challenges, and goals related to collaboration, document management, and workflow automation.
- Conduct thorough needs assessments and translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications.
SharePoint Online Customization and Development :
Design, develop, and customize SharePoint Online sites, libraries, lists, web parts, and workflows to align with client requirements.Implement information architecture, metadata, and content types for effective data management and search functionality.Develop custom solutions using SharePoint Framework (SPFx) (if applicable) and other relevant technologies.Power Platform Development (Power Apps and Power Automate) :
Design and create Power Apps canvas apps, model-driven apps, and custom connectors to streamline processes and enhance user experiences.Build Power Automate workflows to automate repetitive tasks, integrate systems, and improve productivity.Develop and manage custom connectors and APIs to enable seamless data exchange between platforms.Integration and Connectivity :
Integrate SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions with other Microsoft 365 applications (e.g., Teams, Outlook) and third-party systems to optimize workflows and data flow.Develop and implement data migration strategies and solutions.Training and User Adoption :
Provide training and workshops to clients and end-users on how to effectively use SharePoint Online and Power Platform solutions.Develop user documentation and training materials.Drive user adoption by demonstrating the value and capabilities of the platforms and providing ongoing support.Technical Support and Troubleshooting :
Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Power Automate implementations.Provide ongoing support and maintenance for implemented solutions.Perform testing, and quality assurance on developed solutions.Documentation :
Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for developed solutions, configurations, and processes.Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.4-6 years of hands-on experience with SharePoint Development (SharePoint Online, Power Apps, and Power Automate).Strong understanding of Microsoft 365 platform and its capabilities.Proven experience in customizing and developing SharePoint Online sites, libraries, and lists.Proficiency in designing and developing Power Apps canvas and model-driven apps.Experience in building and managing Power Automate workflows.Knowledge of SharePoint Framework (SPFx) development (if applicable).Experience with API development and integration.Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.Effective communication and presentation skills to interact with clients and stakeholders.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong understanding of Information architecture.Experience in data migration.Experience with Azure services is a plus.Microsoft Certifications related to SharePoint and Power Platform are a plus.ref : hirist.tech)
