Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field with minimum of 7+ years of experience. 3+ years of proven experience as a Performance Tester with a focus on Dynamics 365.
• Proficiency in performance testing tools such as JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools.
• Proficiency in API testing and tools such as Postman.
• Knowledge of StresStimulus tool for scripting.
• Knowledge of different types of performance testing, such as load testing, stress testing, endurance testing, spike testing, volume testing, and scalability testing.
• Knowledge of Dynamics 365 architecture, configurations, and integrations will be added advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

As a Performance Test Lead, you will be responsible for evaluating the speed, reliability, scalability, stability, response time, and resource usage of software applications under different workloads and scenarios. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand the business flows and goals and create a test plan and strategy to ensure that the software meets the performance requirements and expectations of customers and users. You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving any performance bottlenecks, issues, or risks, and providing recommendations for performance improvement.

Responsibilities :

Test Planning and Strategy :

Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and understand Nonfunctional requirements and design comprehensive test plans and strategies for solutions built on Dynamics 365 platform along with cloud components based on Microsoft Azure.

Develop and maintain a roadmap for performance testing activities.

Test Development :

Understand the performance objectives, requirements, criteria, scope, approach, methodology, tools, and resources for the performance testing project.

Responsible for creating test scripts, data, and environment for executing the performance tests.

Record test scripts that mimic user actions performed in a scenario on the application.

Validate scripts with different users to ensure all expected correlation and parameterization is working.

Set up the workload model and execute the tests, while monitoring the system performance during test execution.

Analyse test results, identify performance bottlenecks, issues, and risks, and provide recommendations for performance improvement.

Document and communicate test findings, conclusions, and suggestions to stakeholders.

Test Execution :

Execute load and stress testing scripts based on the agreed workload model to assess the system's performance under various load conditions based on the user volume, data volume, number of transactions and any other metric based on the project needs.

Identify performance bottlenecks and work with development team to address them.

Scalability Testing :

Evaluate the scalability of Dynamics 365 solutions by simulating increased user loads and data volumes.

Provide recommendations for system scalability improvements.

Performance Monitoring :

Handson knowledge of APM (Application Performance Monitoring) tools. Utilize performance monitoring tools to gather real-time performance metrics.

Analyse performance results to identify trends, potential issues, and areas for optimization.

Defect Tracking and Reporting :

Document and report defects using a systematic and detailed approach.

Collaborate with development teams to ensure timely resolution of identified issues.

Documentation :

Create and maintain detailed documentation of test scripts, test plans, and testing processes.

Provide clear and concise reports on test execution and results.

Intellectual Property Management

Acts as an ambassador in consumption of intellectual property (IP) and leverages IP in projects. Proactively assists in the creation of intellectual property content and seeks areas that are available for more IP. Communicates areas that need refreshing or gaps in intellectual property. Provides feedback for continuous improvement.
