Job Title : Supplier Quality Assurance Lead

Job Description :

We are seeking a results-driven Supplier Quality Assurance Lead to enhance the quality and performance of our suppliers, ensuring compliance with standards and driving continuous improvement initiatives. This role is critical in managing supplier relationships, resolving quality issues, and aligning supplier capabilities with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities :

Quality Improvement and Cost Management

  • Drive FG (Finished Goods) and component quality improvement initiatives.
  • Reduce Cost of Poor Quality (COPQ) by identifying inefficiencies and implementing corrective actions.
  • Manage warranty claims from suppliers, ensuring timely resolution and accountability.

Supplier Selection and Qualification

  • Evaluate and qualify suppliers through detailed assessments and audits.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.

    • Supplier Performance Monitoring

  • Monitor supplier quality performance using metrics and scorecards.
  • Conduct ongoing supplier audits to ensure adherence to quality and process standards.
  • Evaluate supplier performance regularly and identify areas for improvement.

    • Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement

  • Perform root cause analyses and develop corrective action plans to address quality issues.
  • Implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supplier performance and processes.

    • Supplier Development

  • Build supplier capabilities through training, education, and performance improvement programs.
  • Lead supplier development initiatives to align with organizational objectives.

    • Change Management and Configuration Control

  • Manage design and process changes to ensure seamless transitions and minimal disruptions.
  • Maintain control of changes and ensure compliance with established procedures.

    • Documentation and Compliance

  • Manage supplier quality documentation and ensure regulatory compliance.
  • Prepare and present quality reports to stakeholders and leadership.

    • Skills and Competencies :

  • Strong expertise in quality management and supplier development.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
  • Knowledge of quality performance metrics and supplier audits.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory compliance and documentation management.

    • Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in supplier quality improvement and development roles.
  • Expertise in quality standards, continuous improvement, and supplier performance management.
  • Familiarity with change management processes and configuration control.
