Job description

You’ll be our : PRD Engineer

You’ll be based at : Corporate office, Bangalore (IBC Knowledge Park)

You’ll be aligned with : Sr. PRD Engineer,

You’ll be joining our : Product Validation.

What you’ll do at Ather :

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Vehicle Performance Test and Analysis Engineer to join our Product Validation.The candidate will have a strong background in Testing and Evaluating the performance of Electric Vehicle, ensuring they meet Performance,Range,Thermal ,Drivability and Homologation standards.The Vehicle Performance Test Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams,execute test and analysis the various test data analysis.

As a PRD Engineer, you will be responsible for

Responsible for DVP creation, test planning and execution of test cases for Performance attributes.

Excellent Data analysis skills using ncode software and other software's (python, Labview).

Addressing and resolving performance-related issues during development, testing, and post-production phas e s.

Creating detailed documentation of performance attributes, test results, and optimization strategies .

Working closely with powertrain engineers to integrate and optimize the performance of electric motors, battery, and other powertrain components.

Developing strategies to optimize energy consumption and efficiency, contributing to teams to improved range and overall energy performance.

Responsible for all the operations, Installation and maintenance of equipment's / rigs.

Raising bugs and highlighting the critical failures in the system / vehicle immediately.

Work closely with attribute engineers for the attributes testing and ensuring accuracy of the same.

Responsible for proper usage of equipments / Instruments and machineries.

Adhering to test standards / procedure suit the testing needs.

Responsible for creating quality test reports with relevant information.

Responsible for equipment / Instruments Standard Operating Procedures.

Responsible for installation and commissioning of new equipment.

Here’s what we’re looking for :

Strong understanding of electric vehicle performance.

Proven experience in dyno operations and its controls.

Proven experience of working in instrumentation, data acquisition and data processing.

Excellent Data analysis skills using ncode software.

Excellent communication skills.

Should be willing to come in 3 shifts.

What you bring to Ather :

Diploma or Bachelor’s / Master’s in mechanical or electrical engineering or any other equivalent field.
