About the role :

As an Engineer on the Digital Health Platform team, you’ll aid in the development of innovative new solutions to significant problems in the healthcare industry. You are a highly motivated engineering professional who can help us build our capabilities and services. You want to enable application teams to produce high-quality, maintainable software efficiently. Your responsibilities :

  • Collaborate with product managers, architects, and other engineers to assist on solution design
  • Implement defined solution design, including cloud infrastructure and resource provisioning
  • Ensure appropriate platform security and follow defined compliance processes
  • Implement new features based on customer requests
  • Embrace innovation—research and implement new capabilities to improve efficiencies, customer experience, and platform offerings
  • Assist internal platform users with problem resolution

What we're looking for :

Basic Qualifications :

  • BA / BS in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience with installation & configuration of Kubernetes
  • Minimum of 2 years with IaaS offerings : AWS, Azure, Google
  • Minimum of 2 years Solutioning, Designing, and implementing applications / APIs
  • Experience in : IT infrastructure security and Infrastructure as Code (IaC), e.g. Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM Templates Large-scale distributed software design and development experience Utilization of Elastic Runtime Environments, accessing and troubleshooting and solutions recommendations A CI / CD pipeline Concourse, GIT, Bit Bucket, Jenkins, etc. One or more of the following languages : Spring-Java, Go, NodeJS, .net, and Python Migration from Monolithic application development to micro-services Containerization and 12 factor app delivery Alerting, Logging and Monitoring solution configuration
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Ability to present ideas to an audience with a broad range of experience
  • Ability to lead and educate / train others
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and DevOps best practices
  • Experience developing software within a regulated environment in the medical industry
  • Familiarity with common healthcare systems integrations and regulatory requirements
  • Familiarity with relational and non-SQL, Event Driven Architectures / messaging and process orchestration
