About the Job :
- Test Lead role for Insurance Transition - technical and non-technical Projects.
- Align on End-to-end involvement Test lifecycle for all the Transition plan as per the timeline and deadlines.
- Support PMs, Senior Management, Implementation and Operations with the Testing, feedback, and reporting.
- Regression and UAT Testing as per the Project plan and timeline.
- Defect Management and solutioning.
Responsibilities
Lead the Test Activities for the Insurance Transition projects in alignment with Test Manager.Involve in building Test Strategy, Framework and Processes for Testing activities for the projects as per the requirements.Actively involve in delivering effective Test Plans, being part of design and architecture discussions with different teams including Implementation, Operations, PMs, Client, and other key stakeholders.Provide functional test analysis planning design execution and reporting for testing assignments.Prepare where required : Test Cases, Test Scripts, Test Data, Test Coverage analysis for a given testing assignment.Support the Test Manager by contributing to the test readiness reviews activities, test progress reporting, test completion summary reports and test defect management and reporting.Play a lead role in the analysis and reporting of test results, work closely with Business, Technology and Operations to investigate and interpret test findings.Provide estimation and milestone planning for Testing activities.Highlight risk and issues at management level.Address defect intimation with quick responsiveness on asked actions.Track the schedule and testing progress and be accountable for tasks and releases.Experience, Skills and Qualifications :
Bachelor of Technology or Bachelor of Engineering in computer science, IT or related areas.5 to 7 years of experience in Testing Lifecycle, preferably in Insurance domain.Hands on experience in developing Test Strategy, Plan, Cases, and execution.Must have hands on Experience in UAT and SIT Testing.ISTQB or ISEB Testing qualifications preferred.Basic knowledge of SQL Developer and Macros.Sound knowledge of Defect Management Processes and handling of different related phases.Proficiency in MIS reporting to senior leadership team.Detailed practical experience of use of JIRA / confluence.Knowledge of agile and risk-based testing.Experience and exposure in Life Insurance and Annuity domain.In depth understanding and experience of Test cycle and all phases of SDLC in agile, waterfall and scrum methodologies.Excellent written and spoken communication skills. Experience in MS Office applications particularly Excel and PowerPoint.Strong organization, management, and networking skills.Must be prepared to work in shifts in line with region supported including India night shifts.Strong analytical skills, detail orientation and service commitment.Ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment, prioritizes, multiple tasks and meets strict deadlines.
